Terms and Conditions for Bothmer Academy

1. Introduction Welcome to Bothmer Academy! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Bothmer Academy fitness program, provided by Bothmer Movement Online, a subsidiary of Bothmer UK. By enrolling in and participating in the Program, you agree to abide by these Terms, including any updates or modifications we may make from time to time. Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing or enrolling in the Program.
2. Program Overview Bothmer Academy offers live, instructor-led exercise sessions based on Bothmer Movement. These sessions are delivered via Zoom, and will include both movement practices and discussions. The discussions may feature detailed explanations of Bothmer Movement exercises, as well as a Q&A portion, which will be recorded for access by participants who are unable to attend the live session. All recordings and discussions will be available on the Zenler platform.
3. Enrollment and Payment
- To participate in Bothmer Academy, you must complete the registration process and make payment in full or by a monthly subscription. Payment can be made via the methods provided on the website. Alternative methods of payment are available to those who cannot access the website payment process. - Prices are subject to change, and any price updates will be communicated in advance to enrolled participants. - By enrolling, you confirm that all the information provided during the registration process is accurate.
4. Access to Live Sessions and Recordings
- Live Sessions: The sessions will be delivered live via Zoom. You will receive detailed instructions on how to access the Zoom link and any related materials in advance of the scheduled sessions. - Recorded Sessions: All live sessions, including discussions, questions, and answers, will be recorded. The recordings will be uploaded to the Zenler platform for participants to access at any time. You will be granted access to these recordings as part of your enrollment in the Program. - Availability: Participants will have access to the recordings for the duration of the Program. After the Program concludes, access to the recordings may be limited or discontinued, at the discretion of Bothmer Movement Online. - If at any time you cancel your subscription you terminate the right to access any material on the Bothmer Academy course. - Intellectual Property Rights: All recordings of live sessions, including the movement exercises, discussions, and Q&A portions, are the property of Bothmer Movement Online, held under Bothmer UK. These recordings are for personal use only, and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without explicit permission.
5. Health and Safety
By enrolling in Bothmer Academy, you confirm that you are in good physical health and able to participate in physical activities. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns, you should consult with your doctor before beginning any physical fitness program. - It is your responsibility to maintain a suitable space in which to take part in the sessions. - If you experience any pain or discomfort during the sessions, you should immediately stop the exercise and seek medical advice if necessary. - Bothmer Academy and its instructors are not responsible for any injuries sustained during your participation on the course.
6. Code of Conduct
To ensure a positive, supportive learning environment, participants are expected to: - Act respectfully toward other participants, instructors, and staff at all times. - Follow all instructions and safety recommendations provided by the instructor. - Engage in the Program in a manner that supports the learning and well-being of others. - Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the course without a refund.
7. Use of Recordings
- By participating in Bothmer Academy, you consent to the recording of your participation in the live sessions, including your video and audio, if applicable. These recordings may be shared with other participants who are unable to attend the live sessions. - Recordings of the live sessions, including the Bothmer Movement exercises, discussions, and Q&A portions, are the exclusive property of Bothmer Movement Online and Bothmer UK. - You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the recordings for personal educational purposes. You may not share, reproduce, or distribute any content from the live sessions without prior written consent from Bothmer Movement Online.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
- We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. By enrolling in the course, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. - Your personal information will be used to manage your participation in Bothmer Academy, communicate with you about the course, and provide access to recordings and other Program-related materials.
9. Refunds and Cancellations -
Refund Policy: Refunds are available within 10 days of enrollment, provided that you have not accessed any live sessions or recorded content. After this period, no refunds will be issued. - Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel your membership in Bothmer Academy, please notify us in writing at susan@bothmermovement.co.uk. To cancel your monthly subscription go to accounts, billing and cancel. - Session Cancellations: If a live session is canceled by Bothmer Movement Online, participants will receive a make-up session at a later date.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- Bothmer Academy is intended to be a general exercise program and may not be suitable for everyone. By participating, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your participation and any associated risks. - We make no guarantees regarding specific results, including improvements in strength, flexibility, or other fitness outcomes. Your results depend on various factors, including individual effort and adherence to the course.. - To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bothmer Movement Online and Bothmer UK are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from your participation in Bothmer Academy, including but not limited to technical issues or disruptions related to third-party platforms such as Zoom or Zenler.
11. Termination of Access
- We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Bothmer Academy at any time, at our sole discretion, if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate conduct. - If access is terminated, you will lose access to all course content, and no refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the course.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly. By continuing to participate in Bothmer Academy after any changes, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.

Access to the 30 Day Challenge is for Personal Use only, and is not to be re-distributed or used for group teaching of either children or adults.
The 30 Day Challenge is not a qualification, and can therefore be used only for personal (individual) development purposes. Should participants wish to use the material for other means, or for group teaching purposes, they must first contact the Bothmer® Movement Online Team to discuss their intentions, and receive approval and/or further support.
The Bothmer® Movement Online Team offers the Challenge as a support for personal development and as an online available introduction to the philosophy. The Bothmer® movement sequences presented therein are merely indications and representations offered by the persons demonstrating, describing and explaining, for the purposes of memory and recall. Bothmer® Movement Online does not seek to set a standard with these representations, and encourages the understanding that these movement sequences have variations across the different Bothmer® Movement training centres.
